Personal/Professional CoachesNature awards for creative mentoring in science were created in 2006 on the premise that the mentorship of young researchers is underappreciated (Nature 444:966; 2006 and 447: 791; 2007). There are no established definitions of what constitutes good scientific mentoring, and scientists are not necessarily trained to mentor (or be mentored). The coaches listed below participated in the 2007 FRNG meeting and are successful life and business coaches in Colorado. Their participation is an introduction to their willingness to help you - in depth, and for a longer term. Information on coaches was provided at the mentee/mentor workshop "Extension! 'The Art and Skill of Career Collaboration", organized by Dr. Joan King of Beyond-Success, LLC.
